VR TRAINING
Virtual reality training is a highly effective way to improve employee skills and knowledge in a safe and engaging environment. By using VR training, businesses can reduce the cost and risk of traditional training methods while increasing retention and overall performance.
VR training can save up to 50% on training costs
VR training let's you prepare staff for difficult, dangerous or costly situations
VR training is consistent across and let's you train and assess large numbers of employees
Immersive Learning
When people learn in a simulated environment such as VR, they learn from experience. They are free to make their own choices and learn from their mistakes. In the past this approach was so expensive it only made sense for pilots or astronauts. Now VR is a cost effective way to train people for almost any complex, difficult or dangerous process.
Immersive learning relies on the sense of presence you feel in VR. As you interact with the virtual world you make decisions just as you would in the physical world, activating the same neural pathways in the brain. This is much more effective and engaging for the trainee and also provides a large data set of performance metrics which can indicate aptitude and performance progress.
The first step is to discuss the learning objectives and limitations or problems with your current training systems. To arrange a consultation, email [email protected]
Interactive 360 Video
This is a narrative based approach to training which puts the learner in control of their own story. This approach is especially useful teaching procedures and soft-skills for a large number of trainees. For example, we recently completed a pilot project of 4 scenarios for AIS Thailand, to train retail staff.
Example use cases:
- Customer Experience
- Dealing with Difficult Customers
- Staff Onboarding
The storyboard is created using the WarpVR web portal. You can then play through the narrative before we film to ensure the script and story is correct before filming. We then film the required scenes, complete post-production and build the scenario.
This approach can support thousands of learners and ensure everyone is up to date on your procedures and service quality. The platform also links with your existing LMS.
3D / VR Training Modules
For complicated or intricate process training the best approach is to build a fully virtual 3D environment using Unity or Unreal Engine. This allows us to setup a training scenario that would be impossible or prohibitively expensive in the real world. We also assess trainee performance whilst they learn
Our 3D modelling team can create a digital twin of your facility and equipment and introduce procedures which get the trainee familiar with difficult procedures quickly.
Example use cases include:
- Production Engineer training
- Disaster scenario training
- Crime scene investigations
- Manufacturing safety protocols
- Heavy equipment simulators
